A: . ALL EQUIPMENT:
Sanitize all machines with a clean towel, soap and water or another non-abrasive and non-acidic type of cleanser as recommended by the manufacturers.
WEIGHT MACHINES:
Inspect cables in order to prevent breakage or wear.
Lubricate the guide rods in order to maintain fluid and even elevation of the weight plates, this also removes dust, dirt, and hair.
Lubricate any part of the machine that requires adjustment, such as seats, back rests, etc.
Inspect and adjust the range of motion as needed
Inspect for loose nuts and bolts tighten as needed
TREADMILLS
Remove and vacuum shrouds to avoid possible motor wear, damage to internal components, and/or electrical damage.
Inspect and adjust the running belt tension and alignment if needed.
Inspect belt for cracks, fraying or excessive wear
Inspect for belt delamination
Inspect for worn or missing parts such as safety lanyards
Inspect power cord for wear or failure.
Inspect the lift motor for proper elevation and range of motion
Inspect treadmill bed for bowing
- EFX MACHINES
Perform the software diagnostics. Check LED and keypad function. Record the odometer reading.
Check speed sensor function
Inspect the drive belts for cracks, fraying or excessive wear
Inspect the optional power supply cords. If a power supply cord is damaged, install a new power supply
Visually examine all wires and check connectors and wire connections. Secure connections and replace wiring as necessary .
- STATIONARY BIKES
Perform the software diagnostics. Check LED and keypad function. Record the odometer reading
Check speed sensor function
Visually inspect the drive belts for cracks, fraying or excessive wear.
Visually examine all wires and check connectors and wire connections.
Secure connections if necessary
